Abstract
Este trabajo analiza la experiencia de jóvenes venezolanos migrantes a través del podcast Hermanos de la Espuma. A lo largo de cinco capítulos, se presentan testimonios de jóvenes que residen en España, abordando dimensiones históricas, políticas, culturales y emocionales del éxodo venezolano. El proyecto combina periodismo, narrativa y documental para visibilizar una generación marcada por la crisis, el desarraigo y la adaptación. También examina estereotipos en el país de acogida, así como expectativas de futuro y deseos de retorno. Desde una perspectiva humana, el podcast rompe con discursos simplificados sobre la migración y destaca la diversidad de la diáspora juvenil venezolana. Además, pone en valor la memoria oral como herramienta periodística y de comprensión del fenómeno migratorio contemporáneo.
This project examines the experiences of young Venezuelan migrants through the podcast Hermanos de la Espuma. Across five episodes, it features testimonies of youth living in Spain, exploring historical, political, cultural, and emotional aspects of the Venezuelan exodus. The podcast blends journalism, narrative, and documentary elements to shed light on a generation shaped by crisis, uprooting, and adaptation. It also addresses stereotypes in the host country, future expectations, and the desire to return. With a human-centered approach, it challenges simplified narratives about migration and emphasizes the diversity of the Venezuelan youth diaspora. Additionally, it highlights the value of oral memory as a journalistic and analytical tool for understanding the contemporary migratory phenomenon.
