Abstract

The beneficial health effects of wine has been shown in cancer, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases. However, the alcohol content of wine can counter these effects in a high consumption. Conclusions: Wine, because of their polyphenols content are beneficial to health, as long as a moderate consumption is considered, that’s is up to two glasses per day for men and one for women.
