Abstract
Apartándose de una concepción de la investigación filosófica en clave de mero comentario de texto ajeno a los requerimientos de la actualidad social y política, la presente tesis doctoral se inscribe en una concepción del papel esencial de la actividad filosófica según la cual esta: 1. Ha de estar orientada al estudio crítico de determinados saberes del presente, ideologías dominantes, tendencias sociales, dinámicas y contenidos culturales dados; 2. Ha de apoyarse necesariamente en disciplinas de primer grado (en nuestro caso, estudios pertenecientes a la esfera de las ciencias sociales: históricos, políticos, jurídicos, criminológicos, sociológicos, etc.) respecto de las cuales resulta en buena medida irreductible, pero de las que no puede en modo alguno prescindir. Así las cosas, al enfoque general de esta investigación subyace una visión de la filosofía como crítica social, allí donde la palabra «crítica» no apunta tanto a un rechazo unilateral del statu quo o a una enmienda a la totalidad del orden establecido, sino a una evaluación racional del mismo de carácter inmanente...
Leaving aside a conception of the philosophical research as a mere literary commentary detached from the requirements of socio-political actuality, this doctoral thesis is part of a conception of the essential role of the philosophical activity according to which, this activity: 1. Should be oriented towards the critical study of current knowledge, dominant ideologies, social trends, dynamics and given cultural contents; 2.Must necessarily rely on primary disciplines (in this case, studies which belong to the field of social sciences: historical, political, legal, criminological, sociological, etc.) with respect to which is irreducible, but cannot be disregarded. Thus, the general focus of this research is rooted in a vision of philosophy as social critique, where "critique" does not solely imply a unilateral rejection of the status quo or a complete overhaul of the established order, but rather a rational evaluation from within...
