Abstract
RESUMEN: El objetivo de este artículo es analizar las particularidades lingüísticas que suponen una dificultad añadida para el traductor de cómics en la saga «La guerra de bromas y acertijos», en el marco de la serie regular «Batman». Debido a las estrategias que compensan el humor metalingüístico y adaptan las onomatopeyas y las muletillas de los personajes, la labor del traductor sale a relucir ante los lectores
ABSTRACT: The aim of this paper is to analyze the linguistic traits that pose an extra challenge for the translator of comic-books in the story «The War of Jokes and Riddles», originally published in the ongoing «Batman» monthly series. Due to the strategies that compensate metalinguistic humor and adapt sounds and catch phrases, translator’s work gets readers’ attention in the target language.
